CH Rossut Zulu of Pakowhai J.W ShCM

 Zulu joined the gang in April 2008 from Pat Sutton (Rossut). We had a wonderful opportunity in owning Zulu and are so very proud of what he as achieved. He has brilliant temperament and is a real pleasure to live with, my very special boy!

While been campagined by his breeder, Zulu had a super puppy career starting at his first show with a 2nd in Minor Puppy Dog at West Mercia Beagle Club Championship Show under Alistair Parker (Chapscroft) followed by Best Puppy Dog & Reserve Best Puppy in Show at the Beagle Club Open Show November 07 under Dawn Banks (Forgebanks). At LKA in December 07 he won Minor Puppy Dog under Serena Parker (Serenaker). In 2008 at the February Beagle Association Open Show he won Best Puppy in Show under Sam Goldberg (Molesend). At Crufts under Sally Kimber (Coachbarn) he won Best Puppy Dog, the following weekend he won Best Puppy in Show at Four Counties Beagle Club under Feredith Somerfield and finally Best Puppy in Show at the Beagle Club Open Show under Sally Parker (Chapscroft). Following on from the success he had with his breeder he then to won his first RDCC at Three Counties Championship Show under Janet Lee (Janlees) at 13 months old and his Junior Warrant he had a very good season winning many classes and his second RDCC later on in the year at 18 months old under Ann Phillips (Lanesend) at West Merica Beagle Club Championship Show.

Zulu had an amazing 2009 starting the year winning Best in Show at Mountsorrel Open Show, his ShCM and his 3rd RCC at Southern Counties Championship Show under breed specialist Diana Brown (Raimex). The highlight of the year without a doubt was winning his first DCC at Driffield Championship Show under breed specialist Jim Woodcock (Roddwood). Can't describe the feeling of what it was like for Zulu to win mine and his first CC, just amazing! There was more for 2009 with Zulu winning his 4th RCC & RBIS at West Mercia Beagle Club Championship under Barbara Roderick (Barterhound). And finally winning BD & RBIS at the Beagle Club Open Show (November) under breed specialist Hazel Deans (Gempeni).

2010 really was the year for Zulu, it started out very well been placed 2nd in Mid Limit Dog at Crufts under Jane May (Janfrey) the following week he won the Limit Dog class at Four Counties Championship Show under Helen Caple (Morsefield). The main highlights of the year was winning his second DCC and RBIS at The Beagle Club Championship Show under Penny Carmichael (Kernbridge) and winning his third DCC and Champion title at Bournemouth Championship Show under Patience Walden (Nedlaw). Finally winning his 5th RDCC at Northern & Midland Beagle Club Championship Show under Joan Lennard (Butterow). Zulu is now semi-retired from the show ring and is very much enjoying relaxing at home, however he will make the occasion appearance and is very much looking forward to the veteran classes in the few years time!
